Description

Omalizumab biosimilar is a recombinant DNA-derived humanized IgG1κ monoclonal antibody that selectively binds to human immunoglobulin E (IgE). The antibody has a molecular weight of approximately 149 kiloDaltons. Omalizumab is produced by a Chinese hamster ovary cell suspension culture in a nutrient medium. 

Biological Activity
Omalizumab is a recombinant, humanized, monoclonal antibody against human immunoglobulin E (IgE) with a K_D of 0.393 nM. Omalizumab binds to the human FcγRIIb receptors with a K_D of 6.37 uM. Omalizumab has the potential for persistent allergic asthma research.
