Description

Evolocumab biosimilaris a human monoclonal immunoglobulin G2 (IgG2) directed against human proprotein convertase subtilisin kexin 9 (PCSK9). Evolocumab biosimilarhas an approximate molecular weight (MW) of 144 kDa and is produced in genetically engineered mammalian (Chinese hamster ovary) cells. 

Biological Activity
Evolocumab (anti-PCSK9) is a human monoclonal antibody that inhibits PCSK9. Evolocumab binds to the circulating PCSK9 protein, inhibiting it from binding to the LDLR. Evolocumab can be used for the research of hypercholesterolemia and atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases.
